No More!!
No one say “tiptoe” and no one say “tulips” because if I get that song stuck in my head again, I might just shoot a goat. Or myself. Or both.

Life; an Unphilosophic Thought
So I just found out through research that those angry monster things from the previous post, yeah, you actually can avoid them. Who would have thought. All these years I believed that it was one of those games that were up to luck and impossibly stupid. Hmm… goes to show how good at video games I am. Which generally isn’t true, unless it’s a memory related game, or a game where...

Life; a Philosophic Thought
Life is like that old game on your grandma’s computer. As you are skiing down the hill of life, obstacles are thrown in your way. If somehow you happen to make it past them all, before you have a chance at getting a high score, some strange angry monster eats you and ruins your dreams.

Today is going to be a good day. Wanna know why? Because I said so. I am going to have more fun than the rest of the world combined. Just because I have that power.

There were ups like seeing my friends again and the downs like the practically non-existent air conditioning, but the first and second days of school are over. Now we actually get to go to our classes the normal way. No more random assemblies, no more eight class day schedules. Over all the school wasn’t too bad. Not excited for the upcoming homework. More Later. —that green eyed girl

Here i am, at Island Park, Idaho. For those of you who don’t know, this is part two of this vacation. I just came back from Glacier National Park, Montana. I must say, it was even better than I remembered. We went on four hikes, and the hardest was Logan’s Pass, which was covered with snow past the roof of the visitor center only a month and a half ago. Though the snow melts fast,...

Favorite Vacay Spots
Out of all of the vacations I have been on in my life, I would have to say that my favorite was when my family went to Glacier National Park in Montana. I am bringing this up because just this friday, I am going with some friends again. It is going to be full of fishing and hiking and overall just chilling in a cabin. What is your favorite vacation spot?

Rambled Musings of a Green Eyed Girl
I think that the best stories are the ones that don’t involve a romance plot. These stories are the ones that capture the audience’s attention without reverting to the overused ‘boy and girl separated by circumstances’ theme. I’m not saying that romance novels are all bad. Just that overall to a well-read audience, the love story becomes a bit of a cliche unless they...

Results
I promised to post the results of my auditions on the 19th, so here they are. I tried out for three things: Concert Choir, Intermediate Theatre, and Phantom of the Opera. The first two are second level classes, and if I got them it meant that I skipped the beginning classes. Phantom of the Opera was a extra curricular musical opportunity. I made it into… Concert Choir, Intermediate Theatre,...

Emma
We have recently taken in a dog for some friends who decided to go on a cruise. Her name is Emma, and she is the cutest little puppy! She shakes a lot, and she loves chasing a ball if you throw it. She also loves chasing you if you dare to try to do a front-hand spring instead of chasing her. This forces you to stop, out of fear that you will kick her. Shes so sweet! She is a little shy though, we...

Permit Test 2
Yes, for those of you who were biting your nails in anticipation, I did in fact pass the drivers permit test today. I was very excited, and was going to celebrate by going running with my brand-new-five-dollar pedometer, but mother nature decided against it. Maybe tomorrow.

Permit Test
I am officially going to get my permit tomorrow, I hope. I have been studying, so no readers out there should be scared of getting on the road. And no to those who are wondering (I like to think someone somewhere is reading this) I still have not received the results to my audition. Wish me luck on the test!

Auditions
All day I was sick to my stomach with nerves. Well, I went to musical auditions today. It was pretty bad. I messed up at least five times on my monologues, and once on my song. The Sight Singing? Forget it! And for the scales, my range was unusually small. I will be posting the results of my almost sure failure tomorrow (I think that is when they let us know). I suppose there is always...

Not a Stranger to the Front Hand Spring
I learned how to do a front hand spring today, off the tramp! On the tramp, I managed to do a couple aerials, but those aren’t quite consistent. My next goal is the back hand spring! On another note, the song I am working on now is called “Stranger to The Rain” from the musical “Children of Eden”. It is very pretty and inspirational song about a girl who gets left...

Granted
Never take anything or anyone for granted. Today someone that I was helped me out more than they will ever know, and unconsciously! I was treating them like just another friend, and then they helped me out in a time of need. Its really a great feeling when you realize that you don’t have to solve problems on your own. It is always great to have someone lend a hand. Thus I say, Take nothing...

Back-Tuck
Have you ever seen the way the gymnasts flip around in the air, gracefully defying gravity? I have always dreamed of being that flexible and that free. In the past, I have conquered a few moves, like the handstand, the somersault, even the back bend, but my new goal is to be able to do a back-tuck on a trampoline. I have exactly until September of 2011 to accomplish this, lets hope I don’t...

Why do people make blogs? I think people make blogs to inform others of what is going on in their life. Everyone wants to feel like someone hears them. As my favorite vocal teacher once told me, there is a reason you have two ears, and only one mouth. I am among those who want to be heard. Read my blog if you like, or don’t if it doesn’t suit your taste. —that green-eyed girl
