Ramblings of a Green Eyed Girl

I think that the best stories are the ones that don’t involve a romance plot. These stories are the ones that capture the audience’s attention without reverting to the overused ‘boy and girl separated by circumstances’ theme. I’m not saying that romance novels are all bad. Just that overall to a well-read audience, the love story becomes a bit of a cliche unless they can add something unique to it. So I guess what i’m trying to say is that if you’re going to pick up a book at the library, you have a better chance of picking up a book that is focused on something else entirely, and maybe has a side plot than a book focused on romance.
